After all, most of them are merely avatars acting on behalf of various chairmen of the boards for multi-national corporations. They’re perfectly happy to play puppet for the actual law makers. Just think of them as lapdogs for the really wealthy. (The ones who were smart enough to avoid the media until their kids started making the front pages for booze, drugs, and sexual misdeeds.) Eventually, the politicians get too old to play anymore and their owners send them off into the woods to die.

“Citizens” United, indeed. I don’t think the Supreme Court was trying to corrupt the political system. I think they were just grossly naive.

After all, the house is being run by a bunch of oompa loompas now. Maybe Boner will fight for single payer health care, but only for orange skinned people not living in New Jersey.
